Hey, many thanks for sharing - great content! I am also playing around with the plug in with Ableton. It works great with midi instruments like Tension. Still, when using Sampler I immediately run into disk overload issues (disk indicator flashing) resulting in poor latency and audio issues. Already tried performance optimizations like loading all samples into RAM, converting to Simpler, system performance tweaks etc.

The thing is, when playing the Sampler with my computer keyboard I have no disk issues at all and latency is really good.

Any ideas of how to make it work with Sampler?

I would prefer this plug in over using midi pick ups with my guitar..

I just got back into playing guitar after 25 years away from it, having a blast but also behind the times. I remember a slim stick on pickup with an attached gizmo the had to be on your guitar for it to work as a midi controller. What kind of device or devices do I need to get into this kind of fun? Tips on software too would be great too.

I have a problem in the setup, i have a focusrite scarlett 2i2 interface, and when i go to the MIDI tab, there is no MIDI port to configure. How do i solve it?

Awesome stuff here thanks for sharing! I’m looking to do something similar to the biscuits and Barber with my band in terms of live electronic guitar synth sounds. I’m curious, does Barber route the audio through his amp when he goes to midi guitar stuff? Or just through the PA layered over his amp tone. Or simply just DI into the PA altogether and mute the amp? If it’s the first option how would you best configure ableton audio out of an amp?
