Loved that game. It’s strong point was it’s replayability. You could treat it like a game of chess. Each time you started a game you would get random characters.

Star Wars Force Commander imo was the best Star Wars strategy game. Why? Infantry could shoot at aircraft. You had to reenact Episode IV Tantive 4 of shoving troops into a choke point to capture buildings. Your troops with experience would grow and continue with you on campaign.

The Star Wars Rebellion Board Game packages a lot of this into a few pounds of plastic and cardboard. And it's better than Empire at War.
