These tips will work for women as well. I myself am a woman, and do like to wear mixed metals. I make jewelry, and frequently the mixed metal is subtle----the clasp is a different metal for example. I keep the chains mainly one width, but different lengths, and different chain types. Paperclip chain I do on a daily basis. It's my favorite. (Jan Griffiths).

Step one and two: don’t wear cheap steel and get a watch with some actual value, not a Walmart automatic special on clearance. Bonus: get some quality black ts. The Hanes faded after one wash specials ain’t it.

There are so many different types of chains, Cubans being the worst, especially when they are super heavy, even women laugh at that, mistakes number one, your a man, put your chain under your shirt unless you’re a teenager or trying to show appreciation to a spouse that might have purchased it as a gift, but I laugh to myself walking through places like the mall watching people coming out of these low budget urban clothing stores that are now at mall’s due to the decline in malls all together, then you see them wearing a bracelet or chain that probably
