SCP-173's Sad END!

This is a story about the sad end of SCP-173 The Sculpture

SCP 173 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as The Sculpture.

Moved to Site-19 1993. Origin is as of yet unknown. It is constructed from concrete and rebar with traces of Krylon brand spray paint. SCP-173 is animate and extremely hostile. The object cannot move while within a direct line of sight. Line of sight must not be broken at any time with SCP173 . Personnel assigned to enter container are instructed to alert one another before blinking. Object is reported to attack by snapping the neck at the base of the skull, or by strangulation. In the event of an attack, personnel are to observe Class 4 hazardous object containment procedures.

I see a lot of viewers still confused about 173's change in design (This happened back in Fall of 2022) The simplified version of what caused this is the wiki originally used a photo of a very real art piece that exists and with the wiki growing famous they've decided to change it for legal reasons The artist was fine with the use What is the weake itself is non-profit but they just want to avoid trouble/harassment in the future due to some of the people using the SCPs do make a profit such selling merch like this channel does and removed said picture and people are asked to make their own interpretations of what it looks like now and this just happens to be this channel's interpretation

For those curious, SCP-173’s file was the first one to be written (not in a lore way, in an actual way.) Because of this, most SCP fans agreed not to ever officially alter it, to preserve it’s specialness. That’s the main reason why it’s file lacks detail and information, no one has added any.

It's ironic. The SCP Foundation attempted to kill 173 many times. And it would always regenerate. And now it turns out that it's weakness was time and the elements. Perhaps the existence of humanity was the source of it's power. And without humanity, it could no longer live.

I did not understand the story from the title of this dangerous scp, but now I realize that it is very sad how SCP 173 and a Foundation agent now known as SCP 451 made a nice friendship, but it ended in a melancholic way without them Daryl knew; this episode depressed me a bit

That’s dark, and real! Not *real* like this is a true story, but real, in that it reflects the general loneliness many are feeling right now, amped up and followed to it logical conclusion if one was left in Daryl’s position.
It’s interesting to explore Daryls personification of SCP-173 while also not knowing what level of consciousness it may or not actually have.

This is beautiful. Even though it's a misunderstanding it's a calm in the eye of the storm of the apocalypse. A slow mo choke is a hug in some way. I'd embrace SCP-173 too

Just imagining SCP 173 being horrified at it's inability to kill this singular human and trying to flee as fast as it could only for that human to leisurely walk beside the greatly slowed and completely terrified scp and start talking about how hard it's life is.
