Показать описание
In this tutorial we will show you how to put and combine to pictures together (blend) in order to make one picture in the background and the other in the foreground by using transparency.

How it is done:

1: You need 2 pictures to work with 1 background and 1 objective

2: Press: File - Open, and import your objective pic

3: Layer - Transparency - Add Alpha Channel

4: Select the Eraser tool

5: Lower it's spacing to about 2

6: And delete all the objective's background

7: Go to: File - Export As...

8: Change the extension to .png

9: And select PNG format (for transparency)

10: File - Close all - Discard

11: File - Open as Layers...

12: Select your background image

13: File - Open as Layers...

14: Select the PNG you saved earlier.

I like how this person is making a charming picture of Taylor Swift and I'm making cursed images of frogs with teeth.

Hi, I just saw your video, realizing it's about 5 1/2 years old at this point. I played around with it, and noticed that now (not sure about old versions), you can go ahead and Insert all necessary pictures (Open as Layers) at once. Once you've done that, you can edit each layer, as needed, by selecting the layer on the right, and then right-clicking on the image. You'll get the Context menu, where you can navigate to the Layer Menu>Transparency, and then you either select Add Alpha Channel or Alpha to Selection, I forget which it is. Then you can erase as needed. Repeat for each layer needed to have parts erased.

It's really much easier and cleaner to use the scissors selection to copy the image you want rather than trying to erase the background to transparent, as when you did so you left some of the background from the Taylor Swift background. Once selected with scissors tool you can easily remove edging issues and can use smudge so it blends better with the background.

That was idiot-proof! Thank you. Now on to a long, fruitful career of meme-ing.

You, Sir, are a Gidi Jedi Master. I've looked at at least five other tutorials on doing this and they were either counterintuitive or simply did not work as advertised. Thank you.

This was super helpful! Now:

Let's say I have two images (a background and a T-shirt), I took out the color in the t-shirt (the alpha trick you showed), and would like the background to fit the area in the t-shirt. How do you resize one image (here the background) to fit the other (the t-shirt) without reducing the size of the t-shirt as well?
