Format USB to FAT32 - Quick Guide

PLEASE NOTE FORMATTING WILL ERASE THE DRIVE AND IF YOUR NOT SURE WHAT YOUR DOING COULD ERASE ANOTHER DRIVE, MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BACKUP OF ANYTHING IMPORTANT BEFORE FOLLOWING THIS GUIDE.

Format a USB Drive / Pen Drive / USB Stick / USB Device to FAT32 to enable it to be used in a non windows device such as a Games Console (PS3), TV, DVD, Satellite Box, Set Top Box, Car Radio etc

I know this is 5 years old, but you sir are a champion of the sun and tech God's. You single handely, at 1am on a Saturday just saved a dieing PS4. Dude, this is the best video I’ve seen on how to do this. Worked perfectly! Just an FYI, you said “forward slash” after the Q but actually did a “space”. Of course I did a space and it worked perfectly but just wanted to let you know. Thanks so much for this video. Now I can update the firmware on my Sony car radio.

p. s. you don't have to use prompt. just left click the disk that yuou wanna format and then you can see "format" in letter box. and them you click that, you can see file system, in that box, click "FAT32" and that click "start" at the bottom. there you go.

If it says "The volume is too big for FAT32" then enter "format /FS:FAT32 E: "
Note: replace E with the letter assigned to your flash drive

So I was going to format my USB drive to reinstall the system files for my old PS3 as I put a new drive in the console. I checked the file system of my USB drive and it was already formatted to FAT32 haha. Thanks for the very clear and straight forward instructions in this video though, :)
