YES DR... the only problem is most people go at their faces like deranged animals, and I have seen many broken capillaries and scaring from people being so aggressive with a tool they have not been properly trained to use, frankly im shocked to see a Physician recommending a comedone extractor instead of a warm compress and cotton around the finger tips and gentle pressure..😢Granted you are the Dr. & I am only a retired Esthetician/ Instructor, but I gotta say it anyway

If someone you’re paying shows up with ONLY this tool to do your face, ask for a refund and RUN. They have no idea what theyre doing and will most likely end up making your skin worse.

As an esthetician myself, I caution people when using these because if used too aggressively, it can cause telangiectasias causing that “spider vein” redness.

That hurts like had tried it once or twice and then that's it....I was done with it🙏🏽....it literally felt as if she's gonna chop my nose off with that....never again...I'm happy with my natural remedies

Not saying it's okay otherwise, I just think it only applies pressure from one direction, ;they never go "back up" the other direction when I'm sure it just pushes some junk down below the hole and stays there. Plus all the other negative reasons you all mentioned. Glad I never used or needed one much at all.

That is such a stupid statement. You're pushing a ring down onto the skin surrounding the combadone. If you look at the skin after this you can see the damage from pushing straight down.

That method is very painful. Not recommended. Gently squeezing is always preferable.
