"Like Goku." - hahahaha! Brilliant! This video was class. Also, never mind 'forgive the bad Latin' pronunciation, what about the Americanised pronunciation of 'lieutenant!' I pronounced it the American way in cadets once and was given a swift slap.

Blaming the fall of Rome on immigration is probably the worst take I hear from "intellectual" rightists. It's such a bad one that it's usually just edgy teenagers or 20-somethings first getting into politics. But I have heard a grown man use this before and I couldn't help but laugh my ass off.

The moment you ask them about any actual Roman history they either use a few regurgitated talking points or find a way to avoid the subject completely. While, sure, if you don't know Roman history that's fine.. but don't use it for some anti-immigration propaganda.
