Totally true .When driving my Miata I never position myself in the blind spots of other cars. This defensive driving comes from the fact rode a sport bike for years .I took my states rider safety class at the time . Also I drove a USPS vehicle for over 34 years. They always stressed defensive driving. Be safe in what ever vehicle you drive . Especially the little Miata!!

Miatas are amazing. but these are the reasons i probably won't ever get one. new cars are just too big. a new truck or suv (which are far too common) would probably just drive right over it. i wish it wasn't the case, would love to own one. oh well, guess I'll try to save up for a BRZ

i didn't know air bags had expiration. thanks for that. will look into updating them on my '96 Escort.
