Professor Jones shows us the gene most likely to make a person into a violent criminal. It’s the same gene that makes them male, but what, if anything, does this tell us?

Is IQ in nations a factor? are lower IQ nations more likely to commit crime?

I am not looking for a fight or battle of the wits; but rather I would merely like to tell you why I, personally, disagree with this video.
I would also like to state that I do not have any degree in the scientific fields (yet), so this is based purely off of my own personal research.
Though I am religious, I don't disagree BECAUSE I am religious. In fact, far from it! I disagree because more recent data, conclusions, and studies from multiple other scientists- specifically nueroscientists- states otherwise.
After in-depth research and reading thousands of pages of research articles and books talking about psychology and behavior, it has become apparent that the reason men are more "predisposed" to crime is not because a gene, but rather because of environmental factors. In fact, most nueroscientists I have come across in my research all say the behavior is most attributed to the environment the person grew up in. I will not go in detail on this, but I highly recommend reading "Behave" by Robert M. Sapolsky for a more comprehensive understanding. Men in modern society, and specifically in Western society, are ill-equipped to handle traumatic events. They are not taught how to manage their emotions more often than not, are less likely to seek support from a therapist or friends, and many of them are placated by society when things don't go their way. These are all symptoms of "toxic masculinity" culture, though I am not directly attributing toxic masculinity culture- that is another argument generally associated with politics and "leftists", but I am speaking about it in the sociological sense.
This creates a breeding ground for men to be more likely to become murderers, as is shown in the graphs above. I am really not stating that men are murderers- I am saying that men need to have better emotional support so that they don't spiral into mental illness.
Mr. Jones has fallen into the trap of correlation, not causation. He shows no research as to why the testosterone directly causes men to be more volatile- and in fact, this assumption is somewhat an insult to men. Not only is it ignoring the true issue- men need better support systems and should be told to seek therapy when necessary- but it can lead to dangerous assumptions. Unless humanity as a whole is able to directly see what is causing such a high rates of homicidal men, we will not be able to help such people and won't be able to reduce the number of murders.
In the book I mentioned previously, "Behave" by Robert M. Sapolsky, the author also debunks the myth that testosterone causes aggression- rather it amplifies the affect of the emotion you're feeling (of course, the range of emotions it amplifies is limited) (page 99 to 107). I would also like to note that Mr. Jones uses "crime" as an umbrella term for murder, which is a disastrous thing to do in scientific fields.
If you've gotten to the bottom of this very long spiel, thank you for hearing me out! Have a lovely day.

Do the downvoters actually watch -- and *comprehend*! -- the video or do they vote on the title and their own biases? Rhetorical question, the answer is clear. Strong biases strongly inhibit intelligence. I would be very interested to see a well-argued (based on FACTS and research! "Opinion" cannot be "well-argued" in a scientific context) comment to tell us how their way of thinking works.

the word 'crime' is subjective. It is predicated on the local law... How can genetics influence arbitrary cultural morality? lol
