French Reading Practice - Les Plantes | How to read in French

Показать описание
For this French Reading Practice, we are talking about "Les plantes".
I wrote you a little text in French that I read you 3 times, once at a slow pace, once at a normal pace, and once at the same pace as if I was talking with another French native speaker.
We look together at what we do not pronounce in this text in French, what words to link and the different sounds. I hope you enjoy it!

Translation:
It's good to have indoor plants but you have to know how to take care of them! Each plant has different needs, both for water and light. If you don't have a green thumb, you can always buy a few cacti or some artificial plants.

Bonjour, Dylane! For me, the last part is the best part: pointing out how a letter or letter-group is supposed to sound when spoken. Absolutely helpful! (At the beginning of every French course, there is a long list of letters and syllables, their corresponding sounds, and word examples. But that is not as helpful. They have to be embedded in everyday words and everyday sentences and everyday situations to be meaningful and better remembered. At least that's what I think.) Merci!

Bonjour Dylane. Pouvez-vous s’il vous plaît expliquer plus sur le verbe “d’avoir”? How is it different from avoir and when to use it? Tried to google it but to no avail. Merci beaucoup!

Why ''differents' is not written in feminine form as 'plante ' is feminine.?
