It seems Schema Changes History report shows the data only for the current date. Is there any way we can generate the report for a specific date period ?

Some one dropped my table/index etc but I noticed after a month ago then that info may erased from default traces... in that scenario... how can we identify who has dropped my table/index etc from default traces ?

Cool thing, learnt most of administration things from your blog.... Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I had doubt/question about this particular thing..
For a busy instance this may not be possible, as default trace gets overwritten with in hours/minutes any other channels where we can find this change?

Also, can I configure my instance to maintain more than 5(1 active + 4 old files) trace files and If this is possible I'm assuming this will not impact SSMS reports performance and Database performance!!!

This must have some configuration settings because in my case the report shows nothing.

Can Dataedo be used as exact alternative to this or Schema Change History has got some unique features that overrides Dataedo?

is that still would be visible if the particular table deleted from the application by its some functionalities.
