SCHOOL DISCIPLINE: AN ALTERNATIVE TO CORPORAL PUNISHMENT

Children should be taught from a young age about what is regarded as acceptable behaviour - both at home and at school. They should also be taught that when they break school rules, it is a negative action towards the school, their fellow learners and their educators and that it disrupts mutual relationships.
