If you are trying to get the square root of an even number then the LCD would be the square root of that number wouldn't it?

Square root of 4 = 2*2=4
Square root of 25 = 5*5=25

Why every time I click on a tutorial about square roots, they always say think about the number that multiplies by itself to get the answer. Yes, I get how it works, but what's the formula? Better yet, if someone was to ask for the square root of 8, 444, 521 how would you find the answer without a calculator?

since -4 multiplied -4 also equals 16.
