Thank you for watching my Beloved book Review. Beloved is a Pulitzer Prize winning novel by titan of literature Toni Morrison. This is one of her most widely read and critically acclaimed of her novels, but The Bluest Eye, Sula, and Song of Solomon also come to mind. This is the first Morrison novel I read but I have those three I just mentioned added to the list because I was quite impressed by this. Morrison is originally from Ohio which is where Beloved is set but after going to Howard University for her undergrad and getting her masters at Cornell, Morrison moved to New York City to become an editor at the book publisher Random House, which you may know from the little penguin logo on the spine of books you’ve read.
