I'm a software engineer who works adjacent to cyber security, and it is scary to know how easy it is for adversaries to pwn folks just through social engineering - no malware or technical expertise required.

Cybersecurity is ridiculous. I once worked at a place where I saw the admin’s default password, answers to security questions, and one of the public devices had an easy to find exploit that would give me access to an admin command prompt. People really don’t think security.

Fun fact: Forcing everyone to have a password with numbers and symbols in it actually make things _less_ secure, since people can't remember those passwords, and they just write them down. Passwords with only letters are easier to memorize, and they usually end up being longer.
