Just discovered ‘House’. Watching it for the third time… each time new elements of the dialogue, plots and subplots emerge. The directors, writers, actors and whole crew, have produced a timeless masterpiece with respect to the human condition, with all its foibles, contradictions, ironies, errors, heroics, hedonism and challenges.
Many lessons explored and learned, many experiences & philosophies echoed or resembled one’s own life journey… Mr Laurie surprisingly, or perhaps not, delivered an extraordinarily high quality and sustained performance throughout the shows 8 seasons. I first came across Mr Laurie from his early performances in the Black Adder series. He performed those roles very well, but they were kind of lightweight, slapstick almost, which tended to reflect on my estimation of his acting 🎭 repertoire. He has come a long way, He has become a very accomplished actor, musician and singer with a great ‘stage presence’’. Thank goodness he was chosen for the part of Doctor Gregory House. Standing ovation 👏 👏 👏 👏 ❤❤❤❤❤ 💐 💐 💐 💐 to top it off … he seems to have remained a really nice down to earth person…. Hope my impression is right 🤞 . Hope he continues to grace our screens, cinemas, stages, for a long time to come.
