This book resonates so much with my life and choices. I am kind of upset because I think I’m the only person who isn’t completely in love with this book. It is very similar to every watt pad fan fiction I’ve ever read just slightly better written. I listened to the whole thing because I thought the end would give me some kind of revelation, and yes I’m so happy with how it ends but I’m not in awe and balling my eyes out like I had kind of hoped (naked truth).

As I have explained this horrendous ordeal, I couldn't believe how well this story and characters were written. Learning your story at the end made so much sense. After 6yrs of abuse he slapped our Son so hard it left a raised handprint on his thigh. I knew that instant our relationship was over. He tried to end me because of that with choking. I still believe to this day, 30 yrs later if our Son wasn't there, I wouldn't have been here now. I now know hes a Narcissist, but at the time Id never heard of this. Great book 📖 My PTSD was high at some point's, but still glad I didn't know the topic and just read it blind xXx
