SOLVED: The File or Directory is Corrupted or Unreadable

Windows found problems with the file system that could not be corrected.

32 KB in 1 hidden files.
352 KB in 2 folders.
324, 064 KB in 10, 006 files.
2, 041, 137, 248 KB are available.

32, 768 bytes in each allocation unit.
63, 984, 345 total allocation units on disk.
63, 785, 539 allocation units available on disk.

14-05-2022 First it didn't work, it says that the volume is still being used. What you have to do is go into safe boot, open cmd, and then do the same way chkdsk /f x: which x is the disk you want to check. It still works in 2022. The corrupted file got deleted and there are no files that needs to be repair on my disk. Thankyou so much 👍

It kind of worked but when I now go to click on Users folder [it is an external hard drive from old computer] to access files it is slightly blanked out and now says "_IsUser.dll". What should I do?
P.S. Everything worked fine prior to me forgetting to eject USB mass storage device.

I got a problem in this process, after typing the complete statement, it shows
"The type of the file is NTFS
Unable to determine volume version and state. CHKDSK aborted. "

What happens if I have other folders in the same drive that are fine? Will this possibly do anything to them? Because I have a folder that needs this fix in my external hard drive but I also have there all of my work ect.
