Like Pike, did Kirk come in contact with a time crystal and knew he would die alone. His reactions in Generations suggest that he did.

Put the crystal in a time capsule with a 'do no open til future' tag and leave it on the planet that Burnham's mom will eventually end up on.

It is possible that I may have the answer to Discovery in the Short Trek Calypso. The A.I. in Discovery calls itself Zora. In my mind, Zora is the collective information from the Sphere that was dying and transferred all its knowledge to Discovery. Sitting there for almost 1000 years it evolved into Zora which will somehow connect with Dr. Burnham and the time crystal. It, of course, is just an opinion.

There are three plot line they have to finish. The red Angel, the red bursts and Control. With two episodes left no matter how they do it, it will feel rushed.

I think that The Red Angel would have run across herself several times in all her jumps in time and she would have passed on info to herself about getting another time crystal.

Kirk from a few years in the future uses the Guardian of Forever to collect the Time Crystal and take it to where the Red Angel suit and Burnham's mom are?
Oh and handling the Time Crystal has caused Captain Kirk to age dramatically and get fat in the middle. ( Allowing Shatner to play Kirk )

I till think we need to see the Past erased with the time crystal by either Mother or Daughter, I don't care But some one goes back to the Burnhan family on the planet before the Klingons arrive. resetting the that new time line Burnham never joins the Spock family and the Time crystal replaces the crystal with a dud so no time traveling in this new time line. No Klingon war and we start fresh in season three, a new captain WOULD BE GREAT TO SEE Captain Matt Decker ( The Doomsday Machine ) or Captain Ronald Tracey ( The Omega Glory ) for the rest of the up coming seasons.

My theory is sadly Star Trek is broken at this point going forward.... unless they find a way to excuse Discovery as an Alternate Universe....
