I really want to try this at beeches in my state, smaller state & don't think many people do things like this, but i'm sure people lose things too! I may have to buy a detector I can comb the beech with and go swimming with under water

I've been metal detecting almost st 60 years, and the thrill is great at finding. But always try to locate the owner. The blessings you will receive will outweigh the monetary value.
Of course digging up a drug dealers gold bar stash is another story.

at least in Australia when you go metal detecting at the beach your chances of gold is much higher..mind you, it'll only be worth $1 or $2..chuckle..
