Smash came out right before I joined the Army, it always reminds me of those good old times getting falling down drunk with my Army buddies. And, of course, Toons in San Jose. 6 fights in one night. Good times.

This short bit at the beginning of this album when I brought it home literally saved my life as a child. Being the fact I was in a house of horrors (pedos) and had to play along so my mom wouldn't harm everyone that hurt me.. meanwhile me finding and having the key to the gun safe ... never using any of the many guns I've grew up practicing with already to harm anyone takes More strength then I knew one could have. That beast was in me every night holding that key... thinking should I? Many of Offsprings albums got me through life .. still to this day.. I never stopped listening to "The Kids Aren't Alright " since it came out. I was brought into a world that has mostly been swallowed by evil unfortunately... these guys will never know how I literally owe them my life!
