Just some facts for non Germans:
Offspring is playing here at 'Rock am Ring' and its called 'Ring' because it is actually a racing Track.. this stage is the main stage and its position is paralell to the homestretch.
At this festival there are 3 big stages and about 85.000 people. In the early 2000s the slogan of rock am ring was that you could see 100 band in 3 days..

The first rock am ring was in the year 1985 with one stage. Headliner these days were Chris de burgh, Joe Cocker and Huey Lewis!

Fun fact: Since 1985 every year at least one out of three days is raining... 32 years in a row..
