There's nothing more soul crushing than the job market and wagie work in general. They start slowly squeezing the life, creativity and happiness out of you young with school and whatever is left after that is drilled out day after day by working a lifeless, grey, depressing 9-5 until you are a shell of your former self and all your mind can do is go numb to cope with the fact that this is all there is. Some (an incredibly low amount) get lucky and escape this fate but, the more optimistic you stay and appear outwardly the more awful you'll feel inside. The younger of us do all this just to never be able to afford a house, a nice car, a real vacation, or retirement, giving up everything that makes us who we are to become more efficient drones that big corporations can exploit for labor and toss aside once we're no longer useful to them like we're nothing more than garbage or bad product.
