WHAT IS MEDIOCRACY | ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW

Показать описание
By its definition MEDIOCRACY is A society in which people with little (if any) talent and skill are dominant and highly influential.
However, in 21st century mediocracy is a universal system that mocks anyone who is against it.
The problem of mediocracy is not the effort that people put into being accepted into a group, but the methods they use against those who are not making any effort nor care about being accepted.
When I just started university, I noticed so many groups of people haging out, just like in Hollywood movies. And I realized that they all have something in common—the philosophy by which they go, which is I am so cool, I need no school to teach me and similar motos.
The thing is that for them school was not an educational institution, but place for promotion. And even though all those groups are not entirely the same, but underneath all of it was the same philosophy—promotion, promotion, promotion.
Now, my philosophy was the following—the fact that I’m paying for my university motivates me to study and be an excellent student. However, seeing that nobody cares about school and good grades, motivated me even more, because I saw that there is quite a lot of space in being the best on campus.
So, if I was ready to give 95% of myself for my college studies, after looking what everyone else does and aims for at school, I was ready to give 100% of myself.
And I did.
Due to promotion and popularity addiction students wouldn’t study and get good grades—but when things would get messy, they would ask me for help with their grades.
Me—who is a total outsider and is no part of any group. I can’t even say I had an actual friend at the time in school.
Mediocracy originates from the need of people to be different.
People try so hard to be different and don’t pay attention to if what they do is wrong or not good for them in any way.
Over the time, the term and philosophy of a rebel bacme so common that everyone had it as their moto and life philosophy. While the right things to do, as well as wisdom got lost somewhere far away in the past. It just isn’t modern anymore.
Do things that are good for you and where you will profit the situation.
Like being a good student in order not to have any trouble in getting into a college of your choice.
Or rocking your studies in order not to be scared whether youll have a job or not tomorrow.
And even things like being good and kind to others, so you wont be lonely tomorrow.
ALWAYS REMEMBER:
Mediocracy is excellent to the eyes of mediocre people.
