There was a comment recently that Utah will not hold a parent in contempt for being verbally abusive or making disparaging comments publicly. I can attest to the fact this is false. Sadly, Kody's nephew, Benjamin Brown is in the middle of a divorce and custody dispute. Online Benjamin proclaims to be an advocate for women and against narcissists in the cult. However, a judge found Benjamin in contempt for abusive behavior toward his ex-wife via emails, phone and statements made on social media including tiktok and facebook. Benjamin was also found in contempt for failing to hold steady employment, not paying child support along with refusing to make payments on their marital home.

Benjamin is now in the middle of a bench trial which is seeking to revise the custody agreement with his ex-wife seeking primary custody. I think we need to understand that the indoctrination of men being abusive in this cult is extensive. Even those men that claim to care about women's rights, are not doing this in private.

TLC needs to *drop* Kody and Robyn from the show, and just follow the lives of the the three original wives and the children who want to continue to participate. I'm so tired of rage-watching the show and being upset at how badly Christine, Janelle and Meri are treated! It would be nice to enjoy it for a change, and just follow how they are discovering and enjoying their new lives.
