Meri’s just angry that, by leaving, Christine has dismantled Meri’s idea that “I’m miserable, but as long as I tell myself that staying is for the greater good, my misery means something.” Meri is realizing that it was all for nothing, and that she’s wasted years when she didn’t have to.

Kody has lost his grip of Christine. That's what he is upset about. He actually expected her to sit around like Meri...alone, no intimacy. While he gives everything to Robin and her kids. Good for you Christine. Your grace and strength is admirable.

It’s so hilarious that Kody has stated umpteen times that “ALL of the wives are FREE to leave!!” but when Christine finally does he gaslights, gossips, shames, and bashes her on the way out. It’s almost like the family really is just held together by a thin string of manipulation and control. So proud of Christine for holding her own and refusing to back down.

What Kody didn't realize is while he was catering to Robyn, Christine was getting her strength to leave. Had he looked up from his selfishness, he would have noticed her emotionally detaching! The pain he's feeling now, Christine has already been through and healed to move on to better days! Soooo happy she walked away, she looks so happy now.

Kody incredulously discovering that Christine has autonomy and agency ("she didn't ask me, she just did it!") is satisfying to see. It's so nice to see Christine standing up for herself and calling out what an absent father he has been.

I am SO proud of Christine and the way shes handled this. Shes been sure of her decisions every step of the way which means shes absolutely ready and confident of her choices. SHe's decided to do this privately and acknowledged how difficult the situation is which shows incredible maturity and empathy. Basically Christine shows every step of the way what a healthy well adjusted person does in hard situations while Kody is that shining example of a narcissist.
