I keep a list of everything I want and pop into thrift stores several times a week. In last month I found a high quality like new standing toilet paper holder for $6, the 600 Watt Nutribullet for $3 and a desk organizer for printer paper for $3. I saved easily over $150.

I can confirm this is 100% true. Target will always tells you what you need. If you do go with a list you will inevitably walk out of Target with a basket full of items, and none of them will have been on your list.
