Chef Masuda (Rei Masuda) first trained at sushi bar Tenzushi in Fukuoka at the age of seventeen, and later under the famed master sushi chef Sukiyabashi Jiro for nine years. Mr. Masuda created this establishment in 2014 and was awarded his first michelin star a year after. His second michelin star was awarded in 2018 and people from all over the world come to eat at this fine establishment that requires reservations in advance.
