I just got a rescue that is a pit mix. He came to us 38lbs and his ideal weight should be around 60-65lbs. Sad how some people treat animals. Anyway this is a great recipe. Oats, beef and eggs are great. I stay away from high fat like peanut butter cuz it tends to cause loose stools in my experience. High protein and carbs are the way to go.

I’m thinking of making a baked version of these for my post surgery girl who went from 110 lbs to 91 lbs because of an object in her intestine. She had emergency surgery 4 days ago and needs to eat 4-6 small meals per day. Maybe if I added 1-2 smaller meatballs to her small meals it might help her. I figured baking them would be better since she is still healing. Thanks for this recipe! I kept seeing ones with gelatin and I don’t have that and figured it was to help it all stick and gel together.

just a suggestion, make the balls, put on cookie sheet, freeze them.. Then you can put more than one ball in a larger bag, defrost as needed..

Hi I just watched this and I'm trying to help my mates dog because I have to look after it and he give it to another lad to look after him but done a crap job.
So I had to get the dog out of a camper van and the dog is really skinny I mean skinny he wanst like that be for as I have proof but I just want him to get him to his own size aging and looking more better I been trying now for at list 3 days I know it's not long enough but Need some advice and help if that's OK is there any way I can email or whatsapp you and send you photos to show you the dog thank you so much hope to here from you.

You give raw satin balls and feed kibble. Why don't you feed raw and ditch the kibble?

How often should I give this to my dog is this like once a week or certain days ? My girl pit looks slim I feed her kibble more then her brother but she doesn’t seem to get fat
