Blackmore's solo is out of this world. The man is a guitar god.

Teenagers in the 70s were very fortunate to hear this song for the first time. And 50 years later, their grandchildren also feel that this is a truly great song.

Everyone is talking about Richie’s solo but John Lord rocks on the keyboards too. Ian Gillan is the star of this song for me. What a voice! The whole band was firing on all cylinders!

One of the most perfectly structured guitar solos in rock history...

I like how the synthesizer complements the guitar and vice versa. Perhaps one of the best guitar solo ever.

This was my dad's favorite song. He passed away July 4th 2008. I love to think he's exploring deep space while listening to this. My dad was an still is my hero. God speed dad God speed.

Im a Japanese in my twenties
My boss, who is in his 60s, recently recommended them to me
I watched a lot of live videos of deep purple
I was really shocked and have been listening to them everyday while drinking like crazy
If it had existed in my time, I would have joined the fan club for sure

They are the best like God. I listen to them more than BTS
Ritchie Blackmore is really cool
I also like the Hammond organ
I'm using a translator

Ritchie Blackmore is seriously underrated as a rock guitarist. The man has so many memorable guitar solos to his credit.

This song reminds me of a time when I was a wee baby. My mother would love to go for walks pushing me in my stroller. One bizarre day, though, I remember seeing some pompadoured maniac surrounded by broken motorcycle parts flying above me and then restoring the motorcycle upon landing and driving off. I found it amusing, to say the least.

I'm 65 years old. I remember listening to this tune all the time when I was in high school. Last summer I was on the highway in the right lane driving my 2020 Toyota Corolla when this tune came on the radio. I cranked it up and next thing I knew I was behind the wheel of my old 69 Chevelle SS. When the song ended I found myself in the left lane passing cars like they were standing still. I looked down at the speedometer only to discover that my old Toyota was doing twice the speed limit. This song has the power to get you one hell of a speeding ticket if you're not careful. Lucky for me I didn't get caught. That being said, I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Deep Purple Rocks!

One of my dads favourite songs. He passed away October 2 at 60. He would love when I used to put this on and he would know every lyric. Dad your face when you used to listen to this song. You loved it so much. Rest In Peace Dad.
