Yield Chutes, Merging, Yielding [BURNABY B.C]

In this video i cover Yield Chutes and Sleeves. As strange as they sound they are even trickier to navigate. When the YIELD sign is present always give way to the cars with right of way in most cases merging from the left. However remember that pedestrians will have the right of way if a crosswalk is present. Always scan and make sure you are clear to proceed.

Sometimes the traffic on the left is so fast that the shoulder check is difficult at busy intersections. By the time you try to merge, the oncoming vehicle is a few centimeters from your rear bumper. This is when there are no get away lanes and where the traffic is faster than in your video. Many accidents in Ontario. We can turn on right. Any suggestions? It's difficult to crank you head on your left when you are too far advanced in the yield lane.

Do you have to signal right when approaching yield? And signal left when approaching/merging the road without the getaway lane?
