Fable II ends with a triple choice. Two of them are quite difficult. Theresa will grant you one of three wishes - love, sacrifice or wealth. ❤️💀💰

You can get the dog back in knothole island you put a person in one of the tombs (it doesn't kill them and you don't get bad points) and it redirects your dog

The difference between the hero and the villian is the hero will sacrifice one person to save the world and the villian will sacrafice the world for one person

When I played through it the first time, and I was reunited with my sister, I genuinely broke down into tears and felt so horrible leaving her, but nothing felt so soul crushing when the dog died.

Family without a doubt. After all, we stoped the villain who was causing the trouble, we saved the people in the spire (I think), and we made sure it won’t be used for evil. Hopefully anyway.

So the very least the Hero deserves is to wish for their family, or rather their sister and dog, to be brought back to life. And hey, if I remember right, they become the King before Fable 3, right? That’s another nice reward in a way!

1) wealth: just trade naked near the castle
2) love: just don’t get married and resurrect you dog at knothole (and well your sister is a long time ago anyway)

The million gold is kind of a joke honestly I had about six or seven million by the time the game was over and even with lowering the rent to raise my morality back up I was still making like tens of thousands of gold every 5 minutes

And especially since there's not much use for gold in the post game I feel like the end game reward should have been like 20 million so you'd just be swimming and gold but nothing to do with it

Your dog died for you, took a bullet meant for you. Of course I brought him back. As for the sister, it was meh. She never even bothered to come see her brother

im remembering all this just now i chose the sacrifice the first playthrough and it hurt so bad that i restarted pretty much immediately. chose love on a second playthrough. then on a third i never started a family before the end of the game theres a dlc where you can ressurect your dog so i always took the money started a family and resurect the dog after i beat the game, but man the first time i played through this game i did everything before the end and that choice has to be one of the best twist in a game.

As a Kid I chose my dog, but as an adult I had to learn to let go for the lives of others.

I was so wealthy by the end of the game it was redundant to choose wealth, I had purchased every property available and was able to buy the king title soon after the ending. Which is the canonical ending that preludes the third game.

I didn't know that when I played as a kid, it's just what made the most sense.

First play through I chose love now that I have dlc I choose sacrifice to get my dog back and I don’t get married until I beat the game so I don’t have to lose the family I know if you wanna marry Alex start the quest tear up the note and don’t finish it and when you beat the game she’ll be in bowerstone as a regular person and do so after

If it were possible I’d have wished to go back to the beginning of the game and prevent all the bad things that happened.

The wealth choice only makes sense if you take the end-game content (Purchasing Fairfax Castle) into account. Especially if you never invested in the Economy System.
