English Lyrics:
Will be crossing the sea
Just to be with you
Despite its depth
It's undeniable

I'm already addicted
To your sweet scent
Is it even right
To love you

Even if storms keep on brewing
Or even if I end up drowning
I'll endure and continue swimming
Abandoning my dignity

Whether it's crossing a volcano
Or passing anywhere everywhere
Though I'm wounded
All of that's a piece of cake

Your fragrance
Is what I search for all night long
Couldn't measure
The distance between too much and enough

I need you
Come on already
Medicine

An earthquake's nothing
Just a chance encounter with you
And I'm headed straight for the floor
And all catastrophes

Will automatically come to a halt
I'm hardheaded
I'll end up getting hurt
That's for sure

Even if I'm like this
Stopping is impossible
I also get burned out
Someday I'll walk away

You have me by the neck
Incapable of leaving
Magic can seriously
Work wonders

Your fragrance (your fragrance)
Is what I search for all night long
Couldn't measure (couldn't measure)
The distance between too much and enough

I need you
Come on already
Medicine

I love you my medicine (x2)
Mahal kita my medicine (x2)
I love you my medicine (x2)
Mahal kita my medicine (x2)

About Medisina (the song): When Medisina reached a million hits on Spotify, Zild released a Facebook post with a video showing him and his friend Tim Marquez working on the production of the song. He played the demo for Tim to listen to, a demo that still lacks the "dreamy-guitar" outro and drum machine present in the finished song. He's happy to reminisce the moment when his favorite track of the album was being made.

Zild also refers to the screamo part at the end as "iloveyoumymedeseyn", a part made by his friend Dave. A video of Dave performing is provided down below in the sources.

About Medisina (the album):
"It is about mundane, youthful emotions, friendship/community, insecurities, love, career frustrations, childhood nostalgia, and post-teen feelings. Growing up in the city and traveling around Cubao or Manila is a huge inspiration of this record."

Zild prefers bursts of inspiration over planning, but in making ‘Medisina’, the 25-year-old songwriter tells NME it was important for him to be “fearless and unpretentious about love”. Once averse to writing love songs that “sounded cringey, ” he now thinks: “The way for me to get past it was just to tell a story of my experiences without trying to titillate or please anyone, and if it comes off corny, then I’m OK with being corny.”

Much like the song, making ‘Medisina’ was “a love-hate relationship”, he says. “Music gives me hope. But when I’m not making music, I feel worthless, and it becomes a source of emptiness and sadness – so I keep coming back to it.”

Si al igual que yo buscas la traducción al español aqui la letra c;.

Estoy cruzando el mar
Solo para estar contigo
A pesar de su profundidad
es innegable

que ya soy adicto
A tu dulce aroma
¿Está bien?
..amarte a ti?..

Incluso si las tormentas siguen apareciendo
O incluso si termino ahogándome
Aguantaré y seguiré nadando.
Abandonando mi dignidad

Ya sea cruzando un volcán
O pasando por cualquier lugar por todas partes
Aunque estoy herido
Todo eso será pan comido

tu fragancia
Es lo que busco toda la noche
No se pudo medir
La distancia entre lo demasiado
y lo suficiente

Te necesito
vamos ya, mi

Medicina

Un terremoto no es nada.
Sólo un encuentro casual contigo
Y caigo directamente al suelo
Y todas las catástrofes

Se detendrá automáticamente
soy testarudo
terminaré lastimándome
Eso es seguro

Incluso si soy así
Parar es imposible
yo también me quemo
Algún día me iré

me tienes encadenado
incapaz de irse
La magia puede en serio.
Haz maravillas

Tu fragancia (tu fragancia)
Es lo que busco toda la noche
No se pudo medir (no se pudo medir)
La distancia entre lo demasiado
y lo suficiente

Te necesito
vamos ya, mi

Medicina

There's a version of Medisina that Zild performs in his gigs which includes him reciting and shouting these lines:

Your love is my death and my life
I love how it stings
I love how it breaks my neck
I love how it makes me wage war against anyone

Hurt me!
Hurt me!
Hurt me back!

For death comes with life,
And life comes with death

Your memory of me
Is a poison
That slowly kills me

Come back
Come back
Don't come back

I want you in my life
I want you to give me pain

I dont care about dying
As long as long as I die right next to you

I wanted to take your advice on the previous comment on another video we last spoke upon; in the end of this specific song, I believe he says "I love you madalas ay Mahal kits madalas ay" I'm not too familiar with the Tagalog dialect but what does this specifically translate to? I heard that it might mean "I love you as I often do" or something along the lines of that but maybe I'm wrong. I do know for sure he's not saying "my medicine" in English. I hope I'm making sense here but I'm really curious even though it's such a small phrase in the end of a song. This is really one of my favorites from his latest album and I'm extremely elated to have this translation nonetheless!
