English Lyrics:
Farewell love
I don't think I can keep on
Breathing
My soul has begun to fade

Heaven has called for me
Should I embrace
The end
It's drawing near

My blood is running out
Witnessing the finale
Of my life
This is it for me

Wipe your face
I don't want to see you grieve
Always bear in mind
I love you

My life is being sucked out
My head and my body's
Growing cold all over
I can't feel a thing anymore

It's time for you to accept
That life is not your ally
Please forgive me
If you've been left all alone

About Paalam Mahal:
"The song didn't almost make it into the album because at first it sounded a lot like the 70's for me. I was listening to a lot of Manila Sound bands like Cinderella, Hotdog, Rico J. Puno, and plenty more that time.

I had difficulty with the chords because out of all the songs in this album, or rather, out of all the songs in my history of writing, this may be the song with the highest number of chords I've had yet.

Its initial title was Julie Vega (an actress from the 70's who passed away at the age of 16) but I found it difficult to incorporate.

The true story behind Paalam Mahal is connected to Emman (a Youtuber known for his parody of Kdrama shows who passed away in 2020). He sent me a message when I released Homework Machine. Although we've never talked much, I felt connected to him because he showed appreciation for music I've made outside the band. His story with his girlfriend and the situation after his death got to me.. it was the pain of suddenly losing a loved one that served as the main inspiration for this song."

Wow... The first time I listened to this song without knowing the lyrics I was kind of expecting this type of melancholic poetry, but oh man was I taken by surprise of how heartbreaking this song is...

But although the lyrics and the heartbeat beeping tell a heartbreaking story, the laid back singing and the bittersweet instrumentals tell me that the person is not sad at the end of their life, but satisfied, glad that they were able to spent their last moments with the most special person of their life.

Salamat for the translation, from Brazil!
