Have you done a video on conic sections? I struggle with hyperbolas and finding asymptotes

The annoying thing: I usually can solve these problems, but I almost always fail on the "figure out the formula" step, or I figure out a very strange one, very different from the the supposed solution, though in theory still a valid one. That's the reason I don't like the "figure out the formula" kind of questions, since infinite number of formulas can be figured out (ok-ok, to be fair, usually the more simple one should be the "right" one ... if I can figure out that ... haha).

If i is a complex number,
i^2= -1, but i = (-1)^1/2
So,
i^2 = (-1)^1/2 * (-1)^1/2
i^2 =( (-1 ) * ( -1) )^1/2
i^2 = (1)^1/2
i^2 = 1
BUT THIS IS ILLEGAL IN MATHS. WHY???
