Показать описание
The trigonometric equation to be solved is cot^2(theta)-1=0. The trigonometric function is isolated and then the reciprocal function of cot(theta)=1/tan(theta) is used. Square roots are taken of both sides of the equation resulting in tan(theta)=±1. Exact solutions are then found in radians using the unit circle.
