I feel jealous of whoever gets to listens to it for the first time

Really don't understand why this is not considered an overall masterpiece in rock music history. So underrated

I discovered Porcupine Tree, depressed and burrowing through YouTube's endless rabbit holes.
The first song I discovered was Lazarus and the second was arriving somewhere But not here.
My red eyes and a slightly buoyant spirit tells me that I have arrived somewhere. What place it is, I dont know yet, but its mellow and warm, and I am staying here for now.

This song reminds me of my ex's dad. He introduced me to Porcupine Tree. My ex was shit, but I still miss his dad sometimes. He had the best taste in music and helped form mine.

The way this song massages you, picks you up, runs with you, and then lets you rest, and then gets you going once again before fading away... It's ... It's beautiful :')

This song will always make me think of my first love. Good times. I showed her this song the day we met, and we cried listening to it the day she physically left my life. She’s not dead or anything, just a couple thousand miles away, always arriving somewhere (but not here.)

Took LSD and heard this song for the first time. It was the first warmish night of the year, no moon clear skies, stars evvverywhere. I watched the stars connect into new constellations that formed fractals as my conciousness seeped above into it, only my body acting as a vessel kept me on the ground. Probably the most beautiful moment I've had on any psychadelic.

I'm 58 and I am so lucky to be around with such quality.

I'm a hardcore TOOL fan. I listen to them every single day. I'll do that until the day I die. Porcupine Tree has been added to the "daily listen". Damn, this is some good music! It took 48 years to find this treasure...

UNESCO should include this in its Intangible World Heritage list.

I'm 70, heard a lot of music over the years. I'd like to thank Jim Ladd for turning me on to PT. I've never tired of this musical odessy. Gets me jumping every time!

This piece travels through the stages of grief. Confusion, shock, anger, sadness and acceptance.

I've listened to this song more than 300 times but still can't enough of it. This is why for me Porcupine Tree is the best band of the last 20 years. An absolute masterpiece. I wish they got more recognition for making such amazing music!

I am 60 years old and have never heard of this band until an hour ago. I can't believe what I've been missing! I love Pink Floyd and decided to search for similar bands when I came across PT. Wow!
