We Belgians actually don't eat our waffles with all those fruits and chocolate on top. That is for the tourists. We have them plain or with powder sugar or whipped cream. If you go back, you should try the famous Flemish stew or 'stoofvlees' as we call it.

1)there is no way a belgian will eat a waffle for breakfast and while talking about waffles you have eaten a waffle from Liège instead of a brussels one2) why go to the coast of belgium if you can eat fish in brussels lol. 3) we are in the top ten of most star restaurants in the world and it's said that belgium has the finesse of france with the quantity of germany and yes it is known for very good food

As a Belgian, you went to all the wrong places... Tourist traps and subpar. Also if you really want to experience real Belgian food, go get a "broodje" of frituur

Well belge isnt well known for highest kitchen like france or italia.
My japanese wife prefer france for eating instade of belgium or Nederlands.
Even these countrys share often the same product in supermarkt Carefour or super U.
I miss the good belge beer. Belge is famous for its good strong beer. It walks a different way thab germany.
