Takuto Maruki is a character that literally changed my life... I went through tough times for practically my entire life. And I wanted to take his offer... I really wanted to. But together with him I had my heart changed by the phantom thieves. Life is still rough... But I now know it's worth to try your best every single day and that I am who I am because of what I experienced. I have the power to continue fighting. And that spirit keeps on, even now after the news broke out that Marukis VA passed away. Thank you Billy, for giving voice to Maruki. May you rest easy now!

This song was already one of the best final boss themes in the series and today its going to have more of an impact for eternity.
Billy Kametz performance as Maruki was beyond incredible. He voiced him with so much emotion and power, Maruki himself is possibly one of the most interesting antagonists in the series as he is a man who means good intentions for all, he just wants to see people smile and be happy and to not suffer anymore. Billy’s performance as Maruki is honest to god perfect because he performs in such a way that leaves an impact on the player. His performance when asking Joker if he will accept his new reality sounded very appealing and almost tempting. It’s garbage he has to be taken from us at the age of 35. Nobody deserves to die at that age at all.
Rip Billy. We promise we won’t shed unneeded tears and will keep building our futures.
