There are many changes that occur in the embryo development when you are 6-week pregnant. Your fetus is the size of a pomegranate seed by now - that is about half an inch.

By this week, lots of crucial developments will occur in your baby, such as her jaw, cheeks and chin will eventually become her adorable face. Also her kidneys, lungs and liver have begun to develop, not to forget her heart, which is beating about twice a fast as your heart in the current phase!
