The fact that you did this trip with your dad is far more valuable than the trip itself, I wish I was able to have a similar experience with my dad

This is so great! It was such a pleasure to welcome you and your dad onboard Rocky Mountaineer and celebrate his 75th birthday in style! We can't wait to see part 2 😊

The interior on this train is incredible. Those domed windows give an almost sci-fi feeling.

I think it's really interesting how your dad addresses everyone by name. It really feels like a sign of respect, especially that he took the time and mental energy to ask or observe, AND remember their name.

Hey You, I‘m one of these german engineers that made this train. I like your video because i can see the train in action. It is very nice to see that you enjoy the trip and like our work.
My part of this project was the electric of the galley and the service bar.

I really liked how respectful you were of other passengers. I noticed you tried to keep them out of shots, respecting their privacy. I wish more YouTubers understood the importance of that. Bravo. Aside to your dad: he raised a good son.

Love watching you take trips with your dad. My daughter passed 5 years ago, and we took several trips together. I'm 73 so I know how much this must mean to your dad. I travel solo now, not the same, but I take her with me in spirit when I go. God bless you both and thanks for sharing these experiences!

You are a lucky man to take trips with your dad. The experience of having your dad with you is far more valuable than the luxury train experience. I wish I had similar experiences. I wish you both many more happy father-son trips together.

In 2008 My husband and I took the Rocky from Banff to Vancouver to catch a cruise ship to Alaska. Tom was very sick but was determined to see Alaska before he died. This rail trip was amazing and being able to relive it with this video was wonderful memories. Thank you for that

My Dad passed away 3.5 years ago and seeing you and your Dad enjoying this experience together warms my heart. Your Dad reminds me a lot of mine and I know for a fact he would have LOVED this.

I love that you travel with your parents. Adult children seem to forget the value of spending time with their parents. It's priceless. Especially adventures like this. It looked like such fun.

Your dad was lovely. Waving to people and saying hello to everyone. What a great guy.

There can be 1000s of videos on YouTube about Rocky Mountaineer. But this video is the best and will remain the best. It has fun, it has action, it has comedy, it has emotions, it has adventure and it has everything. That's why this video will always be the best of yours too...

What a wonderful vlog. The joy on your dad's face and his enthusiasm were an absolute pleasure to watch. The views were gorgeous and you gave so much fantastic information. Thank you. I hope you and your dad indeed had a fantastic voyage.

I had a smile on my face during that whole outside scene with that little "race" hahaha. Watching you having fun like that is next best thing to experiencing it personally. The chances of me going is very slim, not likely at all, but seeing other people enjoying it makes me just as happy. I could feel your elation. Thank you for sharing this special experience.

I think it’s so respectful using the names of the employees. They’re valuable and appreciated and I think that shows when you do that.

Gosh... What an absolutely wonderful train experience... It looks phenomenal! But, as highlighted, the fact you are doing this with your dad... Absolutely love this. I lost my dad just over 2 years ago, and if I am honest, I may have cried once or twice through this, seeing the beautiful relationship you have with your dad, and wishing I could have just one more day with mine. So much I wanted to do with him, things just like this, but never got the time when he retired. Make the absolute most of time with family, just like this video. Thank you ❤️

That is so nice that you leveraged your work you've done on YouTube to give your dad such a great trip. It's also nice to see the trip from the PoV of two different generations as well. Everyone wins.
