I was called back after having all the tests done. They said that there was a shadow that needed further investigations. The team that did the tests were amazing. They exuded a feeling of calmness, professionalism and trust. It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep on the couch. I’m now waiting for the results and I’m not worried at all. What will be, will be! It might be because I’m now 80 years old and I can’t be bothered to be bothered anymore. I’m In the UK and I’ve had all the tests done free via the NHS.

Excellent Video Post-Biopsy! I just had my biopsy this morning and while I'm waiting for the result... I have a basis for some solid research re: markers, additional tests and I would not have known to ask about the multidisciplinary team! A little empowerment goes a long way... Thank you!

I’m reading comments of women saying their biopsy didn’t hurt- I just want to share that its a different experience for all of us. Mine was very bad. The lidocaine shots & ensuing pain was terrible. The one on my breast was less painful than the lymph node one in my armpit- that one hurt so much. I was shaking and had to keep apologizing to my radiologist, who was so sweet & understanding. I couldn’t control the shaking. Be prepared for anything if you’re reading this because of an upcoming biopsy. I asked my primary doctor for some anxiety meds which helped some. You’ll do fine. Just ask questions & understand your experience will be individual to you. Good luck & God bless 🙏

Thank you so much for this information because we often don't know what to ask or how to ask effective questions when in these situations.
I just had my MR guided biopsy on a situation I've been complaining about for over a yr. The mri finally found it in the exact area I had been complaining about (side note be your own advocate always). It is a 4b moderate suspicious malignancy that had not shown up in last yrs mri. Its 3cm x 2.2cm. So I should get the biopsy results by the end of this week but I hadn't a clue what to ask one way or the other benign or malignant and you just gave me some very valuable questions to ask within the next 2 weeks.
God Bless you all❤

I don’t want to get the marker or clip, can I refuse it before I get the biopsy done??? Will they still perform the biopsy?

I’d never do a biopsy again. The radiologist who did it dragged cells to a nearby area. Cancer again.

Thanks for this information I have the cells you mention in the beginning. I had a mammogram, a needle biopsy, and my doctor said I have some abnormal cells that it might be cancer. That I need a breast MRI or a surgical needle localization biopsy. I couldn’t get through the MRI now I scheduled surgery biopsy to remove the abnormal cells. My question shouldn’t the first needle biopsy I did have detect cancer if I have it.
