Best Farming Speeds/Strats for all Crops (and why farm design alone may not matter)

After my last video on vert farm designs for the garden update, a lot of people wanted to know about which ways to face and what speeds to use to maximize farming efficiency as well as how many vertical farm "units" they need for infinite farming. This video talks about the best way to farm every vertical / semi-afk farm and why those speeds matter/don't matter. At the end of the day, as long as your speed is high enough to break a crop with every "swing", any farm design can be MAX SPEED, though MAX SPACE EFFICIENCY is a different story!

Yoooi gratz on 1k. The update post today about garden height being reduced from 50 to 10. Gonna suck trying to fit farms in with only 10 block limit.

Pumpkin/melon speed for a 2 unit farm is 224 and you get about 95% regrowth rate with a 5x1 plot farm with tps at the end

weird thing happened today. personal compactor no longer makes enchanted mushroom blocks of either color.

by using 3 plots you can use 28 tp pads and create an infinite farm with wheat, potatoes, and carrots. by only holding 2 buttons

How do you get the exact 180 Yaw for the pumpkins? Everytime I try it, I can only get 90.01 or -89.99 :D

IDK if it's my Minecraft version or what but I can't even get close to the 4th row even at exactly 90 or 180 depending on the direction and even at the same level to the plane of 2.2 that you did. The only way I can hit the fourth row is if I jump and hit at the perfect angle but then I'm not hitting the first row. sometimes if I hit long enough on 1 row of crops while mashing forward I can hit the fourth... that's about it though 😒

for carrot potato etc, is it better to do 93 speed with 5 crops or 115 wuth 4 breaks

Hey what version of the game do i use to get those hitboxes? I play on 1.8.9 and all of the hotboxes are the same regardless of crop age
