No one should be surprised they talked about this in slack. As someone that works in a tech company, many people do not know that everything in slack is saved and can be monitored by the company, even private chats between invidiuals. I would be willing to bet that these employees thought their chats were private and didn't think anyone would be able to see what they were saying.

The changes are here. The fashion thing that rhymes with saga went down and all these big powerful people stayed silent. They waited for it to be buried. They didn’t say a word until a week and a half later when it was trending on Twitter for a week straight. I bet that’s because they’re so used to Twitter burring stuff like that they assumed it would go away. They’ve been protected for such a long time they were just sitting back and waiting for social media to delete any mention of it. I didn’t see it trending on Insta or FB like I did Twitter. It’s clear the algorithm has been updated & I have a feeling things are going to get really interesting.
