For decades, HENSOLDT has contributed essential technologies for space exploration. Our laser altimeter aids ESA's JUICE mission in studying Jupiter's icy moons, and our sensitive instruments capture stunning images with NASA's James Webb Space Telescope, revealing distant and faint celestial objects.
HENSOLDT also plays a vital role in monitoring Earth. Our METImage on EUMETSAT's Metop satellites improves weather forecasting and climate research, while the TerraSAR-X and TanDEM-X satellites provide precise digital elevation models. We support the German Armed Forces with high-resolution radar images and fast laser communication.
Our instruments endure harsh space conditions and are tested to survive extreme temperatures and vibrations. True to our mission: Detect & protect.
