I don't know about all the rest of you, but I'm getting pretty tired of all this continuing speculation, and just want Apple to release the damned thing already.

The plexiglass top will be there to improve antenna reception. That was the reason it existed in the original Mac mini, and I've never understood why they took it away - Bluetooth issues have been constant.

This is the machine I’ve been waiting for. I’m done spending $5000 on loaded MBPs that I end up using mostly in clamshell mode. Can’t wait to retire my “fans constantly in liftoff mode” 2019 15” 8 core i9 MBP.

The USB-C ports are too close to each other. I would love to see a redesigned Mac Mini but guys let's be realistic. Or at least people should make better renders

A mini with a 32core GPU would make for a great little gaming machine. That is if there were any really good, modern games to play on the Mac. :(

I would agree with everything except for it having HDMI 2.0 as the current Apple TV that was released a few months back has HDMI 2.1, yet is using the A12 chip. It wouldn’t make sense for Apple to continue using 2.0 for a brand new chip.

If it has the "exact same" magnetic power connector as the 24" iMac, why would it have an ethernet jack on its body? I do wonder if ethernet in the power brick could do 10Gb. They must be planning a 10GbE option, since the (lower end) M1 Mac Mini has it.

I'd expect the new M1 MacBook Pros to be a hot commodity and the new M1 CPU's to be in high demand. With the MacBooks likely providing a better margin there is likely no big incentive for Apple to come out with the new MacMini too soon.

With Nvidia and AMD writing ARM drivers for their GPU we can only hope eGPUs can be a thing again with these machines
