Why Netflix isn't making movies about Aksum. Instead, he makes little credible quasi-documents about ancient Egypt.Great history to be proud of.

The language of Axum was Ge'ez, not Greek. Ge'ez was the administrative and the common tongue spoken by the Axumites.

Well done. We need more like this. Comics is a great way to bring this story.

Even if new branches even dark branches are to be added later. Human Nature is Human Nature. And the more we know and are proud of each other the better the world can be.

The administration language was geez/Aramaic family, not Greek. The ancient Greek studied/ learned everything in Africa, but they changed and fabricated everything in the 1900, so you must find the very, very old books in order to find the true African history( the very ancient African books looted from all over Africa/Ethiopia, in Vatican all over Europe...). Keep teaching, I am learning, thanks!

Habeshan people still carry most of the characteristics of these Kings in their DNA. However, the youth are being diluted in so many ways... Thanks for the upload, illustration is top notch!!

When Axum took Hymyar they actually installed one of their own to be the governor. The reason why the legend changed is because the governor rebelled and declared independence. This led to Axumite decline.

We must remember that Adulis preceeded Aksum. Ruled by Negus Zueskalis Aithiopis who spoke
Ge'ez and was said to have spoken Greek than the Greeks. Trading obsidian, turtle shell, frankensense, fish and was a center of trade and commerce in the 1st century.

Read the Erythrian Peripulus.

One notable part of history, in the discovery era the Otoman empire allied to the Sudanese to conquer Axum (Etiópia), they wanted to wage war to convert people to islam, asking for help to christians portuguese expeditional force, led by Christopher da Gama suported Etiopia in training firearms and logistics, with a force vastly outnumbered against enemy alliance they still were victorious, nowdays the kings of Ethiopia remembered the Portuguese kings as : " Our dear brothers in Christ" after that battle, Ethiopia even sent elite soldiers as cruzaders to help fight muslim force that threatened his kingdom and other african kingdoms due to Sudanese ambition to rule over other kingdoms and empires throut the justification that was legit to convert them to islamic faith.

Greek was never our language....its was Ge'ez..which is much older than those languages. The coins had Ge'ez writing, it was called Saba sultan.

Amazing story, it reminds me of the scene in Lawrence of Arabia where they talk about Arabia being united and great again. Thew same could be said of Africa or at least the Northern Coast of Africa at least.
