Cheapest Countries to Study Medicine/MBBS Abroad (Most Affordable Medical Schools)

Hey guys! So I understand cost can be a major barrier to studying medicine in a foreign country. However, don't give up thinking that going to medical school abroad is too expensive because there are many countries where you can study medicine at a very low cost. Countries in Europe, the Caribbean and Asia offer very affordable and high-quality medical education.

-Europe-
Europe lends itself to so many different options, in Belgium, Greece and Belarus you can go to medical school for under $5,000 (USD) and in other countries such as a Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic, Romania, Bulgaria etc. medical education is under $15-20k a year.

Notable universities include:
1. Charles University (Czech Republic)
2. Semmelweis University (Hungary)
3. Nicolaus Copernicus University (Poland)
4. Jagellonian University (Poland)
5. University of Antwerp (Belgium)

*Germany is also a great option, however, I am sticking to countries and universities that offer medicine in ENGLISH

-China-
Another great option as this vast country has numerous options within it, the range for the universities I mentioned in the video is $4,700-6,300 but overall most medical schools fall within the range of $5,000-8,400.

Checkout this list of great Chinese medical schools:

-Malaysia-
Malaysia is one of the more expensive options on this list, I made an error in the video saying the fees only go up to $13,500 as there are some universities with fees as high as $25,000 a year. Newcastle university Malaysia and University of Malaysia are some of the more expensive options however, the more affordable medical schools include:

1. Widad University College
2. Perdana University

-The Philippines-
The Philippines is a really affordable and great option. Definitely check out 'Cagayan State University' and 'AMA College of Medicine'.

-Taiwan-
A really affordable option also with NTU (National Taiwan University) being ranked in the top 100 medical schools in the world by QS.

-The Caribbean-

*In some medical schools in the Caribbean, you also have the chance to do your later years of clinical training in the UK.

Malaysia Medicine is 20, 000 + USD for a year for internationals. Please do your research properly before spreading false info. Also I don’t know which carribean university you’re talking about cause pretty much all Caribbean unis are 65, 000+ USD per year

Great cheaper options.Issue about UK IS, you spend 200k gbp for mbbs in uk, but the pay after that in nhs is like 40k, your never going to be able to pay back the fees in the first 5 yrs .. its going to take atleast 10 to 15yrs until you pay back the loan .. when do you start living at that rate ? Buying a house, having a family etc.. you need family support ..

The info is too basic and incomplete. You should mention the requirement of language in Europe and South America. Intl students will need to study two years the local language prior to university.
