Keith Huewen: ‘World domination for Ducati then?’

Having won both the MotoGP and World Superbike crowns last year, with Francesco Bagnaia and Alvaro Bautista, last season, the Italian factory began its WorldSBK title defence with a clean sweep for Bautista at Phillip Island on the weekend.

Not only did Bautista win comfortably in both wet and dry conditions, but he was backed up by second for team-mate Michael Rinaldi in both dry races, the last of which ended with four Ducatis in the top five.

“World domination for Ducati then? That's what they're aiming for at the moment, no doubt about that,” said former grand prix rider and British champion Keith Huewen....

heard the entire podcast and came to Youtube to specially to see Keith's face talking about "Woke Culture" and fun banter between Keith and Harry at 24:22. Poor Pete's face is so funny watching 2 different generation argue and he finally has to agree to both of them. I feel you Pete.🙂
Awesome shot and keep giving us these gems.

I was not too happy when Keith started commentating on BT Sport . I soon realised how wrong I was . His opinion is always welcome to me, we don't always agree, but that does not mean that I am right.
Just not perhaps the right forum for this subject : But i could be wrong.

Why restrict Ducati in WSBK? They don't do such an artificial thing in MotoGP, why not just tell the other teams in WSBK "Make your bike's faster!" 🤔

My objection to racing in the Middle East. Is the way the countries showboat when they are there and back to normal afterwards . Is it really change ? Or do they ( F1, MOTOGP) take a blind eye

I've got a question (probably for Keith). Do all the riders use the racers gearshift pattern of 'up for downshift' because when you see them swing a leg over the bike then leave the pitbox, they always seem to stomp the pedal down. So are they leaving in 2nd gear, or is neutral above first on these bikes (not between 1st and 2nd), or are they using the street bike pattern of 'up for upshift'?

Doha is a fantastic citytrip. Qatar as a whole does not offer much for tourists. And Doha as a city in my opinion only during the “low” termperature months

I for one would love to see Marc in wsbk. Many would say that's a down grade but which is the most popular MotoGP or wsbk

First half of the season will be the decider. I think Marc will drag some results from the sprint races but if the Aprilla does consistently well I think he would jump ship over to them. Ducati don't need him.

Ducati has been part of the Volkswagen Audi Group since twenty they have deep pockets really deep.

If the global audience is upset or in disagreement of racing in Middle East you can only blame Dorna. Qatar for example isn’t going to change its policy’s and stance on society and the outlook of the world just for a weekend of racing. Everybody knows what they stand for, baffles me every time this conversation comes up because there’s still going to be a race
